API 600 Gate Valve
1. The flashboard has two sealing faces. The most commonly used flashboard has a wedge forming by two sealing faces. The wedge angle varies with valve parameters, usually 5°. 2. The sealing principle of wedge gate valve is seal through close connection of wedging of two sealing faces of wedge flashboard and two sealing faces of valve body. 3. Wedge gate valve may be divided into outside stem gate valve (rising stem gate valve) and inside stem gate valve (revolving stem gate valve) according to different opening and closing modes of flashboard driven by valve stem. 4. Valve body and valve cover may be connected by bolts or pressure self-tight.
API 602 Gate Valve

API 6D Gate Valve
1. Plate gate valve is a kind of sliding valve that taking parallel flashboard as closing element. The closing part may be single flashboard or double-flashboard with support mechanism in the middle. 2. Straight plate gate valve may be divided into single flashboard plate gate valve without and single flashboard plate gate valve with diversion hole. The latter is usually for long-distance transportation pipeline, and the former is mainly for entrance and exit within station or pump. 3. Plate gate valve has compact structure, small flow resistance. It's easy to operate and suitable for natural gas, petroleum, chemical industry, environmental protection, city pipeline, gas pipeline and other pipelines, blow-down system and gas storage system as on-off equipment. Plate gate valve is also suitable for medium with suspended particles as the flashboard slides on surface of the two valve seat.
